For many, being a member of the Logs is more than just participating in an a cappella group—it’s a transformative MIT experience, shaped by music, friendship, and a shared sense of purpose. Being a Log has touched the lives of countless members, creating lifelong bonds and unforgettable memories. As we celebrate 75 continuous years, we invite you to reconnect with old friends, honor the traditions that unite us, and reflect on what it truly means to be part of this remarkable legacy. That’s why we want YOU to join Logs from around the world and return to where it all began—on MIT’s campus—to celebrate what it means to be a singer, an entertainer, an MIT alum, and, above all, a Log.

Plan Your Visit: Hotels & Travel Information

Book Accommodations EARLY

We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible, as availability near campus may be limited. Several hotels in Kendall Square, Central Square, and the greater Cambridge area offer convenient access to MIT.

For discounted rates: MIT has negotiated special pricing with select hotels. These discounts are valid for the MIT community. Explore your options here.

Travel Tips

  • Flying in? Logan International Airport is just a short drive or public transit ride from MIT.

  • Parking Options: MIT recommends parking at the Sloane Garage or Albany Garage. Free parking is also available along Memorial Drive.

  • The Logs Reunion is a celebration of 75 years of music, tradition, and community. It’s a chance to honor the legacy that has shaped us, reconnect with fellow Logs from around the world, and relive the transformative experiences that made being a Log one of the most meaningful parts of MIT life.

  • Yes! The more the merrier.

  • Yes! Please make sure to indicate any dietary restrictions in the RSVP form.

  • Our lovely merch chair from the fall semester, Jess Nguyen, has designed limited edition 75th Reunion shirts in light pink, blue, and purple! Please order your shirt through the RSVP form. Anyone who has donated $20 or more to the Reunion can also indicate so on the form to receive a free shirt. More information on how to donate can be found in the “Support the Reunion” section below this FAQ.

Support the Reunion

Thanks to our amazing donors, we've reached over 90% of our $15,000 goal through the MIT Logs 75th Reunion Crowdfunding Page. However, we still need $760 to fully fund this milestone celebration, and your support can make a huge difference! Donations through our MIT crowdfunding page go directly to the Logs, without processing fees, and are tax-deductible. As a thank-you, donors who contribute $20 or more will receive a complimentary reunion t-shirt at the event and those who donate $500 or more will receive a personalized video serenade on Valentine's Day. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring us closer to making this event unforgettable, so we would really appreciate it if you could consider donating if you haven't already!
